Unfortunately, due to the cost of feed and egg cartons, our eggs are now $5 per dozen. Fresh, washed or unwashed, possibly fertilized chicken eggs. Pickup off Getwell in Hernando. Beware the tiny velociraptors walking around when you get here 😂

Rose Acres Farms, one of the nation's top egg producers, has confirmed that one of its farms tested positive for cases of bird flu over the weekend.

According to the company, cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) were detected at Cort Acre Egg Farm in Seymour, Indiana.

With farms across the U.S. testing positive for bird flu cases, the USDA predicts that egg prices will rise up to 20% this year due to a shortage of eggs.
