The beauty in the natural camouflage is fantastic but I almost walked face first into the web last night. Which would have been NOT fantastic. Harmless, yet the legs give me the ick 😂😳 and im much closer than the video portrays as I kept worrying my hair would hit the web.

Its a w**d to some, but its literally one of my favorites. It signals the end of summer, time for a slow down, cooler weather and I impatiently wait for it to put on its fall show.

It also makes for an excellent dried flower for wreaths and has several medicinal uses. Also, ragw**d is probably what gives you hay fever, not this stuff.

Side note: no bees were starved during this process, pinky swear.

Since I had to dip into the farm stand stash to restart my own starter, I've restocked the dehydrated starter and now feel like the leader of the Sourdough Cartel.

If you pick some up, send me a message and ill give you instructions on waking it up!

Its baking season yall! 🐝🌿❤️

Just finished wrapping bouquets for the stand in the morning! Feels like ages since i had buckets to fill and scrub and leaves to sweep off the floor. I *almost* missed that last part. Almost. Have you ever tried to sweep a green leaf? Ridiculous.

Come see us on your way home from the Water Tower Festival!

I. Have. Never.

Red Spike Amaranth that reseeded itself and hid from me after flopping over. The fall color is gorgeous.

Don't worry, I'm not actually stuck, just waiting on the grease to arrive because apparently Target does not stock food safe grease. Who would've thought?

Finally getting around to doing the 3 year maintenance on my 15 year old KA 😳

Take me back to the days when my flower rows weren't crispy🤣 Also, give me half a second while I figure out the best way to rig shade cloth for next year.

The first batch of Fire C***r is ready! Surprisingly, it is not the sum of its questionable parts. I had been warned that a chaser was a requirement, but my mama didnt raise no sissy. Or my early 20s prepared me well for this day.

Tangy, slightly spicy, savory with a sweet Wildhood Acres honey finish.

There is pulp from the lemons and oranges, shake well and shoot it cold.

I've been trying to get these kids involved in the farmstand and the reception has been lukewarm, at best😂

That was, until Rowan caught the macrame bug and now wants ALL the colors. We put her wristlet keychains out this morning!
