I delivered this beauty today to The Magnolia Event Center in South Jordan for a very special wedding! I'm thrilled for the bride and groom, and hope they love their cake as much as I do!

I like to get to the venue early, stack the cake, touch up the frosting after stacking, and then add flowers! The best option is for the bride to leave me a bouquet that matches the rest of the florals so it all ties together perfectly! I like to do my own arranging of flowers, as often times florists put flower steps right inside the cake! YUCKY, and sometimes even toxic.

It was a BUSY bakery week this week. A wedding, 10 dozen cookies, and a retirement party! I took a day off work from my real job to get it all done! šŸ˜‚. Grateful for my clients, and the opportunity I have to have my own business. Thanks for trusting me with your special occasions.

Made this little cutie to celebrate Mother's Day. Thanks to the wonderful women in my life who lift me, support me, and help me grow. And a special thanks to my mom. She is incredible in so many ways, and I just love her dearly.

Happy happy birthday to the sweet lady who is celebrating her 40th birthday this weekend! She requested beach and cruise vibes; and I just love how this fun set turned out. Here's to 40!

I don't know about you, but I love an Almond Croissant, so when I stumbled up a recipe by for them, I had to give it a try. The turned out beautifully.

For my next attempt, I think I'll play with the cookie portion of the recipe but leave the filling the same. Would you want to give them a taste?

Saddle up for this 2-tier cowboy cake for one lucky birthday boy!

One tier rich chocolate, the other classic vanilla, because why choose just one when you can have both?

This little cutie celebrated out at Gardner Village where guests rode ponies and lived their best cowboy lives.

I tried to capture all that western charm in every detail of this cake.

Work tripā€¦ but make it magical

I had the chance to head to Anaheim for a conference, and of course I couldnā€™t pass up turning it into a little adventure. I brought my hubby along, packed some Disney-inspired cookies I made just for the occasion, grabbed matching Mickey ears, and we made sure to soak up some park time in between it all.

Work + creativity + a little pixie dust = the best kind of balance.

Forever grateful for moments like these where I get to mix what I love with the people I love!
