Today, we tilled under the flower field that we worked so hard on all summer long. We also planted cover crops to help amend the soil for next spring.
Five years ago today, we were numb with the loss of my stepdad, one of the best men I know. Although we know he went to be with Jesus, he is still sorely missed. I am thankful that the seeds he planted while on earth are still growing. Our family isn’t the same without him here, but He is never too far away because of the legacy he left in each one of us. We love and miss you, Bill. ❤️ (Our last picture together is at the end of the video)

The flowers are NOT ready to be done for the year!! Mom and I picked two buckets full tonight!! There are baby zinnias and sunflowers popping up everywhere!! Also, Mom also got a little swing time in! 😃
