Y’all showed UP and showed OUT with the love this morning!! 🥹❤️ We had a FULL community table, a busy bakery, and so many smiling faces!

And apparently the word is getting out about our sweet potato biscuits… and we are HERE FOR IT!! 🤤👏 Y’all are making this baker’s heart so full!

🌧️ Now, I know it’s nasty, cold, and rainy outside… but you know what that means?!

✨ Faith, Flour & Frosting… and a Whole Lot of Courage! ✨❤️

So many of you have commented on my custom neon sign in the bakery and asked about the tagline and Bible verse. Well, there’s a story behind it, and it’s one that’s very near and dear to my heart. ❤️

A few years ago, I had the privilege of being a youth leader for an amazing group of middle school girls. Each year, we would choose a word and a Bible verse that we wanted to strive to live by throughout the year.

In 2023, our word was COURAGE, and our verse was Deuteronomy 31:6.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6

And I remember thinking to myself… How can I encourage these girls to be courageous if I’m not willing to step outside of my own comfort zone?

So I did something completely out of character for me. I booked a SOLO trip to Puerto Rico! ✈️🌴 I traveled by myself, explored, swam with sea turtles, and proved to myself that I was capable of doing things that once scared me.

Little did I know, that was just the beginning of learning what courage really meant.

Fast forward to today, and I’ve taken what is probably the biggest leap of faith of my life… opening B Blessed Bakery & Market. 🧁❤️

And let me tell y’all, this is not a leap I take lightly.

Every early morning, every late night, every recipe, every cinnamon roll, every meal that leaves my kitchen… I pour my heart and soul into it. There are moments of excitement, moments of exhaustion, moments of doubt, and plenty of moments when I have to remind myself to just have FAITH.

Because courage isn’t about not being scared. It’s about being scared and doing it anyway, trusting that God is walking right beside you.

That verse that I once encouraged a group of young girls to live by has become one of the very foundations of my own life.

And that’s why you’ll see it proudly glowing on my bakery wall.

As for Faith, Flour & Frosting? Well, that pretty much sums up my world these days! A whole lot of faith, flour absolutely everywhere, frosting on just about everything, and a baker who is still learning to be courageous every single day. 😂❤️

I don’t know exactly where this journey will take me, but I do know that I’m right where I’m supposed to be.

So when you walk through our doors, I hope you know you’re walking into something that’s so much more than just a bakery. You’re walking into a dream built on faith, courage, love, and a whole lot of hard work.

And if there’s one thing I hope my story reminds someone of, it’s this:

Take the trip. Chase the dream. Make the leap. Have the courage to do the thing that scares you. You never know what God has waiting on the other side. ❤️
