The POM E Ranch

Today is Tristan's "gotcha" day. It has been three years since this sweet boy left Michelle and The POM E Ranch for his forever home. I received a lovely email this morning from his dad, Dan. Dan and Teri are still over the moon for him and Oliver. For those who do not remember their story Dan and Teri adopted Oliver from me (Lisa - Pom to the Rescue) at one of my adoption events. A couple months later they came to another one of our combined adoption events to show me how wonderful Oliver was doing and Teri fell head over heels for Tristan. They eventually decided to add Tristan to their family and have his and her Poms. I know if Heaven can get messages from earth, Michelle is smiling knowing how happy and well adjusted Tristan has become.

Well it has been a while since I updated for Michelle on this page, but I think you all will love this one. Anyone remember Dash aka Ely? He and his mom, Kristina, are living in paradise...literally! They now live in Hawaii and she took this pic of him after they went paddle boarding. Life is Ruff Dash! Your rescue mom is beaming down with joy seeing you so happy! XO ~ Lisa

Hi everyone, Lisa here again trying to continue to give updates on all the Pom E Ranch rescues. If you want to update us all on a rescue you adopted from Michelle, please send me a PM over on the Pom to the Rescue page and I will post it over here. I know Michelle would be so happy to see all her Pommies thriving in their homes. Anywho, here is Joey aka Kai in himz forever home. He is the love of his parents lives and doing fabulous! Today we celebrated the adoption of Nanuk the last doggie I had to adopt for Michelle over at The Pom E Ranch. He looks very happy and will be loved and cherished by his new pawrents. They have owned two other Eskies and are so excited to add him to their home and heart! He will be the only pet in the home and that is exactly what he needs, undivided attention. They like to takes hikes and he will go everywhere with them. He will be the center of their world and I could not be happier for him! Thank you Bridget Cosio for handling the meet and greet and finalizing the adoption for Rusty and myself. Great job kiddo! Yappy Trails Nanuk!

I have an update for Nanuk the last rescue at The POM E Ranch. After some careful consideration, we have decided that he will stay there at the ranch and Rusty and Bridget will continue to foster him for me while I search for his forever home. Since all the applications for The Pom E Ranch come through me anyway this will be an easy transition. I made a promise to his mom that he would be safe and would not go to any other rescue or into a shelter environment. She had to flee her home due to domestic abuse and could not take him with her. I vowed to her that he would be safe with my very best friend. She entrusted me with her loved one and I must honor that vow. I am so grateful for Potato Chips Pomeranian Rescue for their generous offer. It is very appreciated! The emotional well being of our dogs has always been our utmost concern. I believe this is the very best solution for him so he will not have to make another transition. ~ Lisa

Hi everyone! This is Lisa Espinosa of Pom to the Rescue. If you have not heard yet, our beloved rescue warrior Michelle (Moirra) O'Brien has sadly passed away very suddenly. It is a great shock and has rocked us all to our core. Our beloved Michelle asked me to step into her shoes and take over the reigns for The POM E Ranch if anything were ever happen to her. I was honored to be her right hand rescue warrior and will do my very best . We had the same philosophies and ran our rescues very similar, so I am doing my best to take care of things in the same manner and grace that she would. Here is the latest for the 3 rescues she has currently. Tiko will be going to his forever home today. He is being groomed and prettied up by Bridget now and his new mama is on her way to pick him up. Jasper our sweet long term residents adoption has been moved up from April 9th to the this coming Sunday. His new mom will come down on Saturday and spend two days bonding with him and take him home on Sunday. Nanuk will be picked up personally on Monday morning and transported back to Potato Chips Pomeranian Rescue by Jennifer. I will post all the updates for the rescue and Michelle's personal Pommies as they come along. Thank you for all your support and love for the family. They are so appreciative and they do get comfort in seeing how much we all loved and respected her. God Bless!
