🐔 Help Our 4-H Poultry Judging Team Practice! 🥚
We’re looking for eggs with defects to help our 4-H Poultry Judging team sharpen their skills! These eggs will be used strictly for educational purposes—they will NOT be consumed.

If you have any eggs with the following characteristics, we would greatly appreciate your donation:
-Cracked (but still intact)
-Misshapen or abnormal sizes (very small, very large, double yolk)
-Thin-shelled or soft-shelled eggs
-Rough, ridged, or wrinkled shells

📍 Drop-off location:
DeSoto County Extension Office at the DeSoto Agri-Ed Center
(Please use the east entrance due to current road work.)

These hands-on materials make a big difference in helping our youth learn how to properly evaluate egg quality.

Hens and rooster are approx 18 months. Hens are laying great.

BCM hens $45/each - 6 total
Olive Egger hens $30/each 3 total
Rooster $35/each

All for $350

Posting here first before sharing to the the chicken groups. First come first serve! No holds unless you have a deposit (half) AND are picking up within 24 hours OR you are on the way to come get them. Please bring your own crate.

These are nice hens and I do not typically sell a lot of laying hens. Making room for some new birds.

When someone complains how poor people can’t afford these high prices from other hatcheries, takes up a lot of your time with questions about your birds, buys them, then lists two weeks later for nearly double the price. 🙄
