These are all from my Olive Eggers. Mostly Backcrosses and multi-gen crosses but there are some F1 in there as well. They are all together though so I’m not sure which one is which. Backcrosses have a 50/50 chance of laying Olive OR brown eggs. Remember backcrossing is how we get those really cool Olive shades. Only F1 crosses with homozygous blue crosses with dark brown will give all Olive laying hens. While I do get some impressive dark shades by using very dark brown genetics in an F1, a lot of people still want those super dark olives and this is how you get them. A few have started laying and there are some brown layers in there, but I will say that those brown eggs are typically still pretty dark and often speckled. Multi gen (OExOE) will have the potential of blue, olive, and brown. If I have to separate every pullet to verify color, price will go up.
The pullets themselves are a wide range of colors. A lot of them have crests (but not all). Some have Welsummer coloring, some look like splash Americauna, some look like marans, etc.
Pictures are some of the available girls, some of the brown eggs from Olive Egger Backcrosses, and some eggs from some pullets that just started laying (two olives and the others are from some marans that I am keeping).
