Pennsylvania: Crayola Crayons, found in the toy sack, were invented by Binney and Smith in 1902 in Easton, Pennsylvania. The Slinky toy, also in the toy sack, was first sold at Gimbel’s Department Store in Philadelphia in 1945. The Hershey Bar and Hershey Kisses were made in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The kisses are found in Santa’s pocket and the Hershey bar is in the Gullah basket.

To represent Ohio: Play-Doh is found in the toy sack. It was first manufactured in Cincinnati, Ohio as a wallpaper cleaner in the 1930s. Play-Doh was reworked and sold to schools in the 1950s.
