CAE negative clean tested herd. Never had CL. G6s normal by percentage. Excellent Milk lines in this girl. Sires grand dam went top 10 for milk production. Super excited about these surprise doelings. We had the vet do ultrasounds and we didn’t believe this girl was bred. Rosie gave us twin girls and everything went super smooth. I watched the delivery on the barn camera. The spotted one will be hard to let go of.

For the first time ever I had a buck escape into the other pen which housed another buck and doe. Naomi delivered her single handsome buck kid at the exact time to make the sire unknown so this little man will be DNA tested to determine who daddy is. Ruddy was in with Naomi for one single day but as I ran down to the barn I witnesses both bucks perform the deed before I could get into the pen. My guess is Ruddy since he was my super handsome spotted buck. Only time will tell. It’s okay he’s pretty cute so can stick around for a few weeks.

Rain kidded yesterday with Twins awhile I was on shift and in training. She has a pretty easy drawn out delivery. Luckily I have great neighbors and vets that can come out and make sure the kiddos get warmed up and feed when a first freshener is a little slow to the game. Momma finally figured it out with a little assistance. We have a boy and girl! Both look identical to their mom.

Feb 1st Avery kidded with twins. One boy and one girl! She's doing an awesome job taking care of her kiddos.

Wilson Suprised me with one large buckling Jan 31st. I went out to feed and he was laying outside on the group in the chilly morning but Wilson was doing a great job drying him off. He's doing very well.
