Merry Christmas from Smith U Pick Farm!!!!

We just want to thank everyone for their business in 2025, we were so very thankful that God blessed us with an amazing harvest this year!

Are you thinking ahead to Christmas morning breakfast wanted to share this blueberry recipe for any that still have frozen blueberries available from this year‘s harvest. I’m trying this recipe myself for the first time. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

🌸 What a refreshing change this morning! The cooler temps made it the perfect time to get out in the flower garden and finally take care of some much-needed pruning and maintenance. ✂️💐With the forecast staying mild for the next few days, it’s a great window to deadhead, tidy up, and prep for a fresh flush of blooms later this season. 🌿 The garden (and the gardener!) are definitely thankful for the break in heat.Who else is using this cool-down to get caught up outside?

Can you believe the forecast for this weekend? Highs in the low 70s on Saturday and Sunday—yes, in August! 😍 After all this summer heat, it’s the perfect break to come out and enjoy some time on the farm.

Our blueberries are still plentiful thanks to the recent rains, and this weekend’s cooler temps make for ideal picking conditions. 🫐 Even if you’ve already picked once this season, now’s a great time to grab more for the freezer so you can enjoy that summer flavor all winter long.

Raspberries are HERE!!!

We’re excited to share that raspberries are now available in our U-Pick patch — just $8 per quart!
Red & Fall Gold varieties

Please note:

This is our first year growing raspberries, so quantities are limited and they will likely only last about a week. Come early for the best selection!

We also still have plenty of blackberries ripening alongside our sweet blueberries:

The best tomatoes I never grew😂

We had a few tomatoes volunteer where my chicken coop used to be, apparently they are very happy.
They will be available in the farm stand tomorrow (free while they last)

A slight break from the heat this morning 🌤️ made for the perfect time to enjoy an early flower harvest and do a little cleanup of spent blooms—hoping for another beautiful flush of color this fall! 🌸

Our next planting of sunflowers is just starting to open up and should be perfect for harvest the rest of the week. Come see the beauty in bloom! 🌻💐
