This little gem is one of only 2 heifers we had this calving season. (We have one more to go so crossing our fingers. All the boy calves were born the end of the year and both girls this year so hoping to continue the streak.)

She is going to need a name. Sired by our herd sire “Venom” and her dam is “JTW Sweet Van Horn”. Thinking she will color up like her momma.
She is going to be a big girl. Her mom’s hip height is a whopping 58.75” and she is already well on her way there pictured here at just 3 months old.

Love to find a name that would bring the two together.
So far I’ve only come up with “sweet poison” but not sure how a feel about is. What are your thoughts?

It turned out to be an incredible weekend. WSR Abby’s Royal Lady took home 4th place in the Glendenning Fiesta Sale Futurity. We were super excited as this was the first time to consign to a sale and to compete with the best of the best and the judges selecting her 4th placing her in the money was like winning the lottery!

WSR Abby’s Royal Lady is already settled in at her new home in Oklahoma. Thank you CH Bar Registered Longhorns for your confidence in our program. We are so excited to see her continue to bloom.

We want to thank Sherese Sileo Glendenning and her team for accepting her into the sale for elite heifers. Buxton Longhorns and the rest of the sponsors for putting on a show at a level that far exceeds normal standards. These shows just don’t happen. They take incredible planning, organizing and connections and we want you to know we took note. Every detail was perfection and couldn’t have gone smoother. Thank you all! We hope to have a consignment worthy for next years show!

I was just noticing yesterday afternoon that she was looking like she was getting ready but I was thinking it would be another 3-4 days. Then we just noticed this new baby a few minutes ago. Not even standing yet.

Stay tuned for the gender reveal tomorrow- hopefully!
