Just another day of doing business in Wyoming. πŸ˜‚πŸ„

Samm was headed to a construction site when a rancher decided to move his herd up the road, bringing traffic to a temporary standstill.

Montana Civil Contractors, Inc was helping manage traffic, and while everyone waited, Samm got chatting with one of their guys, learned what they do and handed him a Cross49 card.

Because if there’s one thing about Samm… she could probably sell milk to those cows if they’d let her. πŸ˜‚

Friday was a good one for Cross49. 🎣

Taylor Rae Taylor was out representing Cross49 at the San Antonio Pipeliners Association Saltwater Slam and had a chance to catch up with some great people from around the industry.

She crossed paths with Lem Watson (Bold Pipeline Services), Savannah Simmons (Mulholland Energy Services), Sarah Graham (Mid-America Pipeline Construction) and plenty of other familiar faces throughout the day.

And then there was Heidi. πŸ• Taylor’s Belgian Malinois sidekick, who quickly became a crowd favourite and apparently had no trouble making friends with everyone, including a couple officers from the Aransas Pass Police Department. πŸ˜‚

Good people, good conversations and a solid Friday with the pipeline crowd.

UPDATE! ALBERTO HAS A HOME! 🐾

Our little buddy has officially found his fur-ever home!

Turns out Alberto didn’t have to go far. Our next-door neighbours at Citadel Drilling Ltd came through, and Josh apparently fell pretty hard for this little guy.

From shop foreman to officially adopted. Not a bad career move for a little stray. πŸ˜‚

We’re pretty sure he’s going to be one very spoiled pup.

Meet the newest (and most popular) member of the Cross49 team… Alberto. 🐢

He wasn’t exactly hired, but after one of our team members found him wandering near in over the weekend, he’s been hanging around the shop while we work to find his family.

Since then, Alberto has settled into his temporary role surprisingly well.

His responsibilities currently include:
πŸ”§ Supervising fleet inspections
πŸ‘€ Keeping a close eye on the yard
🀝 Boosting shop morale
🐾 Making friends with just about everyone he meets

Jokes aside, he’s been an absolute sweetheart. He’s calm, incredibly friendly, loves people, walks beautifully, and seems happiest just being around the crew. It’s easy to see why everyone at the shop has become attached to him.

Now we’re hoping the power of our community can help.
