I have not been active on here for several months because we have had to put goats on the back burner. We cut our herd down to 5 standard nubians does and 2 mini Nubian does. We are skipping breeding season this year, but SO thrilled to introduce our two new Silverfire bucklings and are so excited for 2026 with our little herd! We picked these guys before they were even born. 🤩 better pictures and pedigree info to come! Just got home with them.

We are now a herd of 7 girls. Our original 3 and their spring doelings. Eventually will be on the look for our next Nubian herdsire, but we’re not in a hurry and have very specific traits we’re looking for.

Yesterday was bitter sweet. While I am very happy with the homes all our sweet Nigerian Dwarfs were placed in, I was a little sad to see them go. Pistol and her three of her kids went west to a very nice breeder and Hank went to another nice couple just getting started in their Nigerian Dwarf showing/ breeding. We do have one available bucking left. He and his brother both took their bottles first try! And then proceeded to harass the Nubians. 😂

Little miss is mad I penned her brothers separate from her and is letting me know about it. 😂 The sass is strong in this one.

I penned her babies through the night. Woke up to a very loud barn this morning 😂. She made sure they didn’t engorge themselves by spacing out their nursing. Really loving her more as she develops. Still has never been hand milked. So other improvements will come along with that as well.

These boys are so square and stout. The third guy is spoken for and has horns per new owners request.
