Are You Ready for Fall & Winter in the Foothills?

In our community, winter weather can mean much more than rain. High winds, falling trees, flooding, debris flows, road closures, power outages, even snow and ice are all in the mix. That makes now a good time to prepare for the coming seasons.

With a wet winter expected, we’re getting the District’s storm drainage system ready for the season ahead.

HVLCSD regularly maintains the storm drainage area owned by the District, including the pump. Recently, a contractor also cleaned the basin to help keep the system ready to handle winter rain.
