After much twiddling of thumbs and patiently waiting for three months to let our Bougie Boys out of their coop, we finally took the leap of faith, and opened the door to their freedom. Peacocks are not innately domesticated, so it was imperative to allow them the time to acclimate to their new home so we took time to spend with them in their coop, giving them treats, toys, and lots of patience. Today was a big success! They hung out in the goat pasture, relaxing, dust bathing, and making new friends. And they went back in their coop all by themselves! For those of us that love animals and work with them daily, this is a wonderful feeling. A big shout out to Solomon Chavis for his wisdom in peacock care. Thank you so much. These boys are doing great, and we Love them dearly.

Welcome these two boys to the farm! After a long, hot trip, they are spending their first day here just chilling in their coop, where they will be for about three months before we gradually give them freedom to roam the farm. They are the prettiest boys, and very sweet. We look forward to getting to know them and being their new parents. We haven’t named them yet…ideas are welcome!

We did this thing, just a little thing. However, it’s a big thing to us! We added bees to the farm, and we absolutely adore them. They are living their best life and we enjoy watching them do it. Bee kind friends! 🐝 🐝

Happy Fathers Day to this amazing man right here! Our kiddos couldn’t have asked for a better daddy than he is. Godly, hard working, kind, funny (in his own mind anyway! 😁), thoughtful, and adventurous. He has always led by example and he gives us all a lot to work with. Brian, I Love you so much. For as amazing of a father as you are, you are an even better husband. Thank you from all of us for being ours.

We have had the most special pond visitors this Spring. Mama and Papa Goose have been here for a good spell now, and have finally brought out the most precious of babies. We are so proud of them and have grown rather fond of their presence. Hoping they have enjoyed their stay at the farm and will come back in the years to come. ❤️🥹🪿🐥
