🔅 NEW BEER 🔅

On tap for a limited time only we introduce Forest Edge 3, a 12.5% Old Ale brewed with molasses. For those who have followed us since homebrewing, you’ll know that this is the non-barrel aged version of our beer Moose. We had 8 gallons left over after filling barrels this year and decided to throw her on tap for you all to try!

The best way we can describe how we brew this beer is a 50/50 grist recipe of imperial stout and barleywine. Because of this we’re getting big notes of burnt sugar, black strap molasses, plum, dark fruit, with a sweet roasted coffee and bitter baker’s chocolate finish.

Forest Edge 3 will be draft only and will be on tap upon opening today. Come hang out!

🔅 NEW BEER 🔅

Today (5/28) we introduce Rill, a 3.5% session IPA brewed with Citra and Motueka hops. We’ve been trying some new brewing methods the past few batches for low ABV offerings and decided to through a nice light hoppy in the mix! We also deviated from our typical house hazy IPA yeast and used a new yeast to deliver a much drier beer. It’s our first time brewing this style and we’re pretty excited for the outcome as it is a perfect summer crusher!

Rill is giving off big lemon lime notes, almost Sprite like, accompanied by grapefruit pith and passion fruit, with a dry grassy finish. Definitely one that is easy to crush outside all summer long.

Rill will be available on tap and in 4-packs to go upon opening today. Don’t forget we have trivia as well from 6:30-8:30pm tonight! Come hang out and have a pint, it’s going to be the perfect night to sit outside and have a drink! Cheers

🔅 NEW BEER in CANS🔅

Today (5/21) we have Petal in cans! As mentioned last weekend Petal is our 3.5% Grisette conditioned on a fruit tisane or herbal tea. This tisane is a blend of papaya, apple, pineapple, and orange pieces as well as hibiscus petals, rosehips, rose petals and sunflower petals. We are getting big notes of raspberry, Granny Smith apple, sweet tart candy, cherry, and finishes with a crisp and tart yet not sour finish.

Petal is on draft and in 4 packs to go upon opening tonight and we’re happy to say we’ll be back to our regular one per week releases starting this weekend! (Pending now major issues). Come stop by for a pint; cheers!

NEW BEER

We are excited to introduce batch one of our new series, Petal. Petal is a 3.5% Grisette conditioned on a fruit tisane or herbal tea. This tisane is a blend of papaya, apple, pineapple, and orange pieces as well as hibiscus petals, rosehips, rose petals and sunflower petals. We were super excited to brew this beer for two main reason. If you have followed us since our homebrew days, we really only made two styles of beer, imperial stouts and saison/farmhouse style ales. We don’t have the luxury of doing mixed culture beers at this location, but we finally were able to take a clean version of our homebrew grisette recipe and scale it up using a new to us French saison yeast! We also don’t get the chance to really experiment often here, but we have always felt tea is a super underappreciated/underused ingredient in beermaking and have decided to really start diving deep into the world of teas with this new series. We hope this is the first batch of many and are excited to start showcasing different teas and tisanes in future batches!

In this first batch we are getting big notes of raspberry, Granny Smith apple, sweet tart candy, cherry, and finishes with a crisp and tart yet not sour finish. We really think this is a great summer beer for the hot weather coming and hope you all feel the same!

Petal will be available draft and growlers only this weekend with cans to follow next weekend. So come on in for a pint or take some home for the beautiful weekend we are about to have. Cheers!

Thank you, thank you , thank you! We can’t say it enough! This past weekend was honestly the absolute best weekend we as a brewery, business, and family have ever had. While we’ve only been open for 2 years, we’ve been at this for over a decade now, and this past weekend truly made it worth it. Not only did we feel love from our regulars and locals, but to see so many people travel out for our anniversary this weekend was so awesome and we couldn’t be more grateful. We also thank you all for making this weekend so smooth without any issue at all. Our customers are the best and we want you to know we all feel so fortunate to have your continued support even two years later.

Even more so we want to thank our incredible staff Jack, Jeff, Mike, Zach, and Meghan. They were thrown a complete curveball this weekend as none of us have ever experienced what took place here at Esker Hart. But there wasn’t even a single hiccup to be had and they absolutely crushed it. They kept lines moving, beer flowing and without them we wouldn’t be growing in the direction we are today. So we just want to say thank you to our incredible team, our dedicated customers, and we look forward to serving you all many years to come!

That all being said you all crushed us this weekend, so it’s gonna take a week or two to get some new beers on the board. BUT if you didn’t get a chance to come out this weekend, most of the beers will still be on tap over the next few weeks so stop in and say hello! Cheers to you all. -Bob & Brielle 🍻🐻🍻

🔅 ANNIVERSARY BEER #6🔅

2nd Anniversary Beer Release (6 of 6)

Last but certainly not least, this Saturday (5/2) we have our final release of the weekend coming at you! Introducing Conquest, an 8.5% imperial India pale ale brewed with our friends from Autodidact Beer , Messorem, and Twin Elephant Brewing Company. Conquest is brewed with Citra dynaboost and Citra cyro, followed by a dry hop of Citra, Anchovy, Eggers Nelson, and Freestyle Nelson sub zero hop keif. While this beer was not brewed for our anniversary, we were super excited when Luis reached out to include us in such an awesome collab and it ended up being scheduled to release our anniversary weekend! Huge thanks to all these awesome breweries and friends for including us on such a fun collab. We are not super knowledgeable on all these new hop products, so to be forced into using them for this collab was both fun and exciting!

As part of the 4 Horseman of the Apocalypse, we brewed Conquest. Our batch of this DIPA is giving off big notes of strawberry crème savers, passion fruit, cotton candy grapes, clementine, and finishes with a soft terpene bite. This beer will be available in 4 packs to go and on tap upon opening this Satruday. Come by and give it a try! Cheers!

2nd Anniversary Beer Release (5 of 6)

This Friday (5/1) we have our second bottled barrel aged release coming at you! We picked another one of our favorite barrels that was ready to come out of its slumber. Introducing Woodland Succession 6, a 14% imperial stout aged for a little over 2 years in a Willett Rye whiskey barrel. Like all of our Woodland Succession stouts, this beer does not contain adjuncts and is meant to showcase the barrel it slept in! This stout definitely showcases some more old school flavors. We are getting a bitter bakers chocolate, more of an umami to***co sweetness, vanilla, and a heavy rye spice that pairs really nice with some of the dark fruit characteristics. Like the 2nd Anniversary stout we, don’t have too much of this to go around so we are going to also limit these bottles to 2 per person. This beer will be to-go bottles only as we unfortunately did not have enough to keg. See you Friday!

2nd Anniversary Beer Release (4 of 6)

This Friday (5/1) we have our first bottled barrel aged release coming at you! We picked one of our favorite barrels that was ready to come out of its slumber to name our 2nd Anniversary Stout. Clocking in at 14.5%, this stout was aged in an Elijah Craig bourbon barrel for a little over two years. Though this beer does not contain any adjuncts, we are getting big notes of fudge chocolate, vanilla, and an almond nuttiness, with that quintessential bourbon-soaked oak finish. We don’t have too much of this to go around so we are going to limit these bottles to *2 per person*. That being said, we do also have this beer on tap upon opening this Friday! So come on in and drink some dark beer with us!

🔅 ANNIVERSARY BEER #3🔅

2nd Anniversary Beer Release (3 of 6)

This Saturday (5/2) we have a pretty awesome beer coming at you all! Wild Alaskan King Salmon, a 12% imperial India pale ale brewed in collaboration with our friends Other Half Brewing Company. This collab is a special one for us, as like many, we used to wait in line on countless Saturdays in hope of snagging some fresh OH cans when they release. Other Half played a vital role in our development as IPA brewers when both homebrewing and commercial brewing. To have the honor of creating some liquid with them is nothing short of amazing. In our short life span as commercial brewers we are so stoked they wanted to brew a beer with us little guys and we’re very excited for the end result!

Wild Alaskan King Salmon is brewed with Eggers Nelson and Riwaka, followed by Peacharine, Nectaron, and Freestyle Peacharine sub zero hop keif. We are calling this beer our fresh hop candy as are getting huge notes of candied pineapple, mango, dank fresh bag of hops, orange creamsicle, and finishes a touch sweet giving it a true hop candy flavor. Upon opening Saturday we will have this beer available on tap and in 4-packs to go!

Lastly, we have some a limited amount new 2nd Anniversary glasses available this weekend. So make sure to grab one when you stop in. Cheers!
