Today (8/20) we are excited to introduce our latest collab, Scouts 10th Anniversary Imperial Milk Stout. Scout’s 10th is a 10% imperial milk stout conditioned on Scout's Coffee Bar + Mercantile coffee, cacao nibs, vanilla beans, brown sugar, and sea salt.
As many of you know, Scout’s is a staple in our small town of High Bridge, and when they came to us to brew a beer or their 10th anniversary we of course had to! The inspiration for this beer is a cup of their cold brew with a magic cold foam topping. We started with an imperial milk stout base (10% for 10 years), followed by a blend of Ecuadorian and Ivory Coast cacao nibs. We then added a blend of Madagascar, Ecuadorian, and Indonesian vanilla beans, sea salt, brown sugar, and Scout’s anniversary coffee blend of lightly roasted Burundi and Tanzania beans. Huge congrats to Nicole and the Scout’s team on 10 years!
In this beer we are getting notes of Boston cream donuts, Swiss Miss hot chocolate, chocolate covered espresso beans, marshmallow, and finishes with a slightly dry, light roasted drip coffee bitterness. Scout’s 10th will be available in 4-packs and on tap up on opening today. Come in and say hi. Cheers!
