WE’RE HIRING: EXPERIENCED CATERING MANAGER
Giannos Catering & Special Events is looking for an experienced Catering Manager to join our team.
This is a hands-on operations position for an experienced hospitality professional who knows how to take an event from planning through ex*****on—and understands the level of organization, attention to detail, and service required for high-end weddings and special events.
Previous experience planning and executing high-end weddings is REQUIRED.
The right candidate will be comfortable working directly with couples and clients, coordinating vendors and venues, leading event staff, managing timelines, overseeing setup and breakdown, and being on-site to make sure every detail is executed properly.
This is not a Monday–Friday desk position. Weddings and events happen nights and weekends, and this role requires flexibility and a willingness to be hands-on alongside the team. A minimum of 40 hours per week is often required, particularly during our busy event seasons.
What we’re looking for:
• Proven catering and event management experience
• High-end wedding planning and ex*****on experience required
• Strong leadership and team-management skills
• Excellent communication and client-service skills
• Ability to manage multiple events, timelines, vendors, and details
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event-driven schedules
• A hands-on hospitality mindset—someone willing to lead from the front
