That’s a wrap for the beef show at the Alachua County Youth & Livestock Show. Anna & Maggie had a very respectable showing. Now Maggie will be turned out to pasture & enjoy being a cow until next show season.

The heifers are looking pretty & trimmed for the show next week. Showmanship begins Friday evening at 5:30 and the cow show starts Saturday at noon. Come on out to the Alachua County Ag Center!

The show is coming up fast, just 3 weeks away! Today was the final heifer walk & the cows got their feet trimmed. The cute little one is Daisy’s granddaughter. We’ve had daisy for 15 years, since she was just a little one! 🩷🐮🤠

Anna had a super successful weekend at her first cattle show with her sweet heifer, Magnolia “Maggie”. Everyone at the show was helpful & friendly showing us the ropes & sharing tips & tricks. 🐮

Steer walk today along with Dr. Jess coming out to do health certificates on the heifers. Lots of improvement by all the kids & cows! Next up, a hair cut & style for Maggie & then a jack pot show.
