I’ll be going out of town early next week, so whatever is collected will go! All my hens are broody so only the two pens below are partially producing. Pictures below of some of the breeders.

👇🏼 Here’s a Dom White baby at hatch and then 2 weeks later. Didn’t even recognize it. Love the darkening skin. 😍

New batch of paint babies that I let my mamas hatch out. Nice dark skin on most of the babies and those with light skin will darken up over the next couple weeks.

Late bloomers. 🌸 Why does it seem like some of these take the longest to mature? Some of these girl are 9 months and still haven’t laid an egg. 😩

😍 Are these not the cutest??

I let these mamas sit on my project penciled eggs since I had filled the incubator already with the other pens. These are chicks out of my project penciled satin pen with a gold penciled hen a couple EE satins from Cluck Like A God This is the first chick to hatch with 5 toes. All previous hatches only had 4 toes and so I wasn’t sure if this breeding would hatch 5. Still so much to improve on with this project but I’m loving it so far.

These produce bags help me keep eggs separated when they hatch. This is especially helpful when test hatching out of different pens and determining what pairings throw what. Chicks don’t seem to mind them too much and I haven’t had a problem with strangling.
