What a GREAT weekend the Fryar Girls had at the Northwest Arkansas Rabbit Club show in Fayetteville!! Anna won BOB Netherlands all four times, and Katie won BOB Mini Lops two of four shows (congrats to Savannah P. on her two Mini Lop wins!).

But the most exciting parts of the weekend happened on the Best In Show table!
• Anna won BIS A, BIS B, and 2RIS C with her Netherland Otter Sr. Buck (HFH Marco)
• Katie won RIS B with her Mini Lop solid senior buck (HFH Sharpest Tool)

February 15: Sunny and 70°. All of the does were feeling good and bred!

Fast forward 30 days…

March 16: It is cloudy, windy, and 30°. And all those does are due!

We had a great day at the SWMHRC show in Webb City, MO! Both girls are heading home with a Reserve in Show - Anna in Show A with HFH Marco (ND Otter Sr. Buck) and Katie in Show B with HFH Sharpest Tool (ML Solid Sr. Buck)!

It was a fun show and an easy day. Each girl only brought 6 rabbits! Matt got to register a few rabbits, and Matt and Cori both worked behind the table for part of the day. More than anything, we all really enjoyed each other’s company today!

Valentine’s weekend was SWEET for the Fryar Girls! We made the drive to Alexandria, Louisiana, for FBRC’s quad show. They only took 6 Mini Lops, 7 Netherlands Dwarfs, and 4 Mini Rex. But that was enough to get the job done!

Katie won Best of Breed Mini Lop in all four shows (HFH Coincidence 1x and HFH Sharpest Tool 3x) and went on to win BEST IN SHOW twice with Sharpest Tool!

Anna, likewise, won Best of Breed Netherland Dwarf four out of four shows (Jer’s Chilango 1x and HFH Marco 3x)!

Both girls had BOSBs in Mini Lop, Netherland, and Mini Rex, as well!

After a tasty dinner of crab and shrimp, we are on the road home!!

We’ve known for a long time that this day was coming — the Girls are mostly getting out of Mini Rex. Their hearts are in their Mini Lops and Netherland Dwarfs, though Katie will continue working with her Castor Mini Rex program. With that decision made, we are hosting an auction for what we believe to be some incredible rabbits! These are the culmination of the nearly 7 years the Girls have spent developing their Mini Rex line.

After being sick and not being able to be in the classroom for a month, Mr. Snowball got to join Cori’s class today!!!! I don’t know who was more excited….MSB or the kids?!?!

Our last show of 2025 went extraordinarily well! The Girls just took their best this weekend to the Missouri State Convention in Sedalia, so they had a lot fewer rabbits to handle and a much more relaxing weekend than usual. But their best they did take!

Anna won Best in Show both times with HFH Marco, her incredible Netherland Otter Buck! She also won Reserve in Show yesterday with HFH Symphony, a Mini Rex Black Doe!

They wrapped up their weekend today with Anna taking BOSB Mini Rex (HFH Harold - Broken Buck), and Katie winning BOB Mini Lop (HFH Coincidence - Broken Buck)!

Mom and Dad enjoyed their time in Sedalia…Cori got to chat with folks and spend time with the Girls while Matt completed his final two judge assists for his registrar’s license!

Yesterday was our hometown show - Northwest Arkansas Rabbit Club! The Fryars started this club with show friends in 2022 so that our local kids would have local shows to attend. This was NARC’s 7th show, and everyone has so much fun on show day.

The Girls also had a lot of success with their rabbits, including a double Reserve in Show for Anna with her Netherland Dwarf!
