Daniels Farm is deeply honored to announce our recent selection as a 2024 Master Breeder by the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association (TWHBEA).
The prestigious TWHBEA Master Breeder Award celebrates breeders who have made a lasting impact on the Tennessee Walking Horse breed and is the highest honor a breeder can receive. Recipients are chosen through a vote by the standing Executive Committee, past TWHBEA Presidents, previous Master Breeder honorees, and two members-at-large of the association.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to TWHBEA for this recognition. We are truly humbled and inspired to continue our commitment to this remarkable breed.

The History of Daniels Farm and the Harry Daniels Family
The Daniels family of Dermott, Arkansas, entered the Tennessee Walking Horse industry through a deeply traditional route.
When Tennessee Walking Horses were first exported from Middle Tennessee, one of their primary markets was the Memphis mule trade, where they were sold to farmers and planters in the Arkansas and Mississippi Delta regions. It was through this channel that the Daniels family was introduced to the breed.
In the 1930s and 1940s, R.J. Daniels farmed with mules near Dermott. In 1942, he purchased his first Tennessee Walking Horse to ride over the fields, and the breed has remained “in the family” ever since.
Following R.J.’s passing in 1946, Harry Daniels took over the family farming operations, which included cotton, cattle, and Tennessee Walking Horses. From the 1940s to the mid-1960s, Harry and his sons, David and Dale, shifted their focus to raising colts for the commercial yearling market. Their first yearling was sold at the Shelbyville sales in 1967, and 2024 marked their 58th consecutive consignment to the Celebration sales.
The Daniels family has always approached their horses with an agricultural philosophy—emphasizing meticulous planning, development, and marketing. Central to their success is their belief in the power of exceptional mares, or "mare power." While many foals are sired by great stallions, the best ones often come from extraordinary mares. This guiding principle has led to numerous successful yearling sales and the production of 11 World Champions and World Grand Champions, including:
1. Generator’s Heir
2. Hallelujah’s Heyday
3. Generator’s Elegance (15 World Championships)
4. Coin’s Living Legend
5. Generator’s Showgirl
6. Senor’ Generator
7. Coin’s Money Maid
8. Los Lobos
9. Jose’s Desperado
10. The Honor Code (6 World Championships)
11. I’m Modelo
Through decades of dedication and excellence, the Daniels family continues to make a lasting impact on the Tennessee Walking Horse industry.
