Good morning, happy bake day, and happy **30th** birthday to my Mom!
‼️Bake day menu will be posted separately as Mom deserves her own appreciation post! ‼️
This beautiful lady allowed me to be independent and make my own choices for my life while silently pulling all the strings behind my back!
She planned a 13 day road trip with her less than fun to be with teenager to visit colleges. She chose 1 school out of the 6 we visited, I fought her relentlessly on it before finally agreeing and that is where I ended up I spending my 4.5 years of college. Turns out she had been in communication with my future r***e coach since I started competing in national matches in the 8th grade.
When I found my pastry program in France she urged me to go through the application and interview processes, she reassured me it was the right decision as I cried packing my bags ready to spend all of my savings and travel alone to a country I did not speak the language, it wasn’t until after I had graduated from the program that I learned she’s the one that sent in my information in the first place.
Finally, we have a new venture I am busting at the seams to share with all of you, and she was a big part in giving me the push to reach out and make the moves toward making it happen.
As soon as I can share what we’ve had in the works I will be screaming it from the mountain tops so look for big announcements coming up!
Oh and did I mention when Beth isn’t able to watch Henry on bake mornings she makes the almost 2 hour trip up (usually last minute) just to babysit for a few hours. Truly amazing!
