Was able to get my youngest to finally join us out on the ice! And glad we did! He had a blast and most importantly we made some great memories together.
Not only did he catch his first ever though the ice, but beat us all with the longest fish of the day at 21.5” and weighing in at 3.5 lbs. From reeling it in, to getting it back in the hole he was loving it (hopefully he’s hooked!).
As usual, the G.O bugs were the weapon of choice! They truly are awesome products, if you enjoy fishing be sure to check them out! You won’t be disappointed.

It was a great day on the ice today! Was able to sneak up to Scofield with the boy today for a warm up before , and we had a great day!
Huge shout out to , we couldn’t keep them off the jigs! I would highly recommend you check them out if you enjoy fishing!
Can’t wait to get back out again, hope the other kid will join us next time!

Me and the boy were able to sneak up to the Uintahs in search of some ice! And it didn’t disappoint, we hit up one of our favorite lake, trial!
We were able to catch 18 between us but most of all caught some great memories! Looking forward to next ice trip with ya buddy!

Happy birthday Ayden! Damn I can’t believe you’re 14 now, the time sure flies! This kid loves himself some football and when he’s not playing you’ll find him at any body of water fishing. Love you dude! Hope you have a great Halloween birthday!

Looking for the best burger in SLC? Look no further than in the food hall! The Oklahoman (I think it’s on menu this month as the krabby patty), sheeeeeesh!!!! That’s all I can say about this burger! And their fries are top notch as well!

When a new toy comes in, what do you do? A prime rib of course. Testing out the new RFX wireless thermometer today. Seasoned with Steak rub and then topped with a rosemary/thyme/oregano compound butter!

Cooked the steak cookoff championship season finale this last weekend !
This competition was a rough one for me, I only cooked 3 of the categories and I know it crazy to say, but I think that’s what hurt me! If you’ve been around me I thrive cooking in chaos and under pressure. I had too much downtime.
I bypassed cooking steaks and just cooked 2 ancillaries and ribs. Pulled DAL (Dead Ass Last) in both and then finished up with 4 place in ribs!
Even though I had an awful comp I was able to pull out the 2024 series Grand Champion in both ancillaries and Ribs. It was definitely an honor, as I compete against some of the best cooks not only in the west but in the country on a monthly basis!
Congrats to all who heard their name called and let’s do this again next year.
