WHITE QUEEN

I've told anyone who'd listen that this variety is misunderstood. She's an absolute beauty -sweet, yet acid, hangs on the vine forever, rarely splits and when not under a deluge of water literally has fruity overtones.

Each tomato pictured weighed in at 1.5+ lbs (unusually large for this variety, btw).

The only way to grow Brassicas (Cabbage, Broccoli, Brussels, cauliflower) ORGANICALLY is growing them under netting!

Why? Because all you're really doing is trying to keep that small white butterfly off your plants. They lay their eggs and its the larvae (green worm) that decimates the plants.

I bought this sheer panel from IKEA for under $5 (for two)! Obviously, I didn't space the plants properly but like I always say if you don't make mistakes every year then you aren't really gardening!

IMPORTANT: Do NOT spray this or anything else except for early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid potential leaf burn.

"KITCHEN GARDENS"

Did you know that even a few pots on a patio or balcony constitute a kitchen garden?

Mine receives less than ideal sunshine (4+ hours). Does it stop me? Nope!
