Join us this Saturday and Sunday for our Wurst Wine Weekend! Enjoy a one-of-a-kinda pairing experience with specialty bratwurst samples from Mississippi Meats and our select wine varieties. A la carte food options available.
All wine glasses and slushies at just $5! As well as free full bar wine tastings with any purchase!
Enjoy live music from 1-4 both days! With local german band on Saturday, and local artist Michael Johnson on Sunday!
We are open 10-6 on Saturday, and 11-5 on Sunday with pairing and food service from 12-5 both days!

***LAST CALL ALERT***

For years, we have had some great cheese spread, with our signature Spurgeon wines blended in.
If you’ve never tried them, you’re missing out. If you have, these next few sentences may hurt a little


Our current stock is the end of a chapter.
As a family owned small business, there are always challenges. Sometimes suppliers grow to a point where minimum orders become more on pace with national brands, and servicing smaller orders for more local or regional establishments, no longer makes sense.

That being said, our remaining cases of Ruby Lady and Cranberry cheese spreads, is all we have left.
Their iteration will never be made again. Once the last of this batch is gone, it’s gone.

We are exploring possibilities, searching for other companies to partner with to bring them back, though with that the recipe will most likely change.
That is still an IF, but we are working on it.

So if you’ve fallen in love with these cheese spreads like so many of our valued customers have expressed over the years, I encourage you to come on out and visit, and grab a few while you still can.

SHOUTING Happy Birthday to one of our hardest working crew members, Mike Patzner, today!🎉

If you’ve been here in the last few years, chances are you’ve been served by Michael. Even if not directly—definitely indirectly, because he not only serves in the tasting room most days we are open, but also assists Marc in winemaking, bottling, stocking, groundskeeping, serving at events outside our grounds like UncorkMe and Potosi BrewFest, sales to other local shops where you might find a bottle of your favorite Spurgeon wine on the shelf, and SO much more!

So let’s raise a glass to Mike todayđŸ· and say thanks for his contributions here EVERY day, because we literally couldn’t do it without him.

We've mentioned the Wine Lemonade that will be featured at Way Cool Wine Weekend this Saturday and Sunday, but theres plenty more COOL things going on!

One of said things, is LIVE MUSIC!

Saturday, we see the return of Brett Julson!
Alice in Chains, Tyler Childers, Mumford & Sons, Brett covers the spread of multiple genres, blending them seamlessly with his signature sound and style.
Brett will be here to fill the air with songs, stories,and laughs, from 1-4 on Saturday.

Then on Sunday from 1-4, you are invited to listen, or participate in Open Mic!
Play some music, share some poetry, tell some jokes or stories, or simply take it all in.
Open Mic will be hosted by Midwest MARC, (our winemaker/jack of all trades!)

As part of the Way Cool Wine Weekend, happening out here this Saturday and Sunday, one of the great things we have to offer, are Wine Lemonades!

Lemonade 2 ways

1. Virgin Lemonade
Lemon, sugar, ice, water.
Add a flavor, with your choice of flavor syrup.
Available flavors include:
Strawberry, Pineapple, Mango, Guava, Raspberry, and Watermelon!
No alcohol, just a satisfying and quenching summer drink.

2. Wine Lemonade
Our base lemonade, but with flare!
Pick your wine of choice from our tasting bar to be mixed in!

Staff favorites are White Sangria, Raspberry, and Rhubarb, but with primarily sweet and fruit wines, we make it easy to create something delicious!

All lemons are fresh cut, and fresh squeezed to order!
