Today's the day!

Join us this afternoon from 3-6, for an extra special Sips N Song Saturday, featuring Michael Johnson Music, as we celebrate the release of his new album, "A Road I Know".

All glasses of wine, and wine slush, are on special today $5 ea.

From 1-6, or until we run out, we will also have brats and hotdogs, (by themselves, or with potato salad) available for purchase, and free samples of our wine infused cheese spreads!

Highway 80 is closed North of Highland and North of the road to the Winery!

Dodgeville – Hwy 18 West to Cobb, right on Hwy 80 North to Highland, left on Hwy Q West at Highland Post Office, right on Pine Tree Rd

Platteville – Hwy 80 North to Montfort, continue straight on Hwy I North to Highland, left on Hwy 80 North to Q at Post Office, right on Pine Tree

Fennimore – Hwy 18 East to Montfort, left on Hwy I North to Highland, left on Hwy 80 North to Q at Post Office, right on Pine Tree

Muscoda – Hwy G, left on Hwy Q, slight left onto Stanek Rd, then a right on Pine Tree Rd

Spring Green – Go to Muscoda and follow their directions

Some of these towns may have signs for the detour and the orange road blockers, but they also say “open TO highland” on them, so you’ll still get here.

Hey folks! Marc, the winemaker here at Spurgeon Winery speaking.
Long before I took on the passion for producing quality wine, learning from Glen while adding my own personality into each bottle, my first passion has always been music. Because of this, amongst my long list of duties and responsibilities here, has been the installation of music on site. Sips N Song Saturday, Open Mic, and all of our pairing events, I believe that quality music brings the full experience to any setting. I myself am a musician, and have always had a special place in my heart for a real sound, meaningful, reflective lyrics, and stories from the heart and a life lived. Something all of us can connect with.
That being said, something extra special is happening here on June 6. My friend Michael Johnson Music will be here for Sips N Song Saturday. Mike is one of the most talented songwriters out there right now, and will be releasing his 2nd album, titled "A Road I Know," on June 5. We plan to celebrate the occasion with a great afternoon filled with songs from the new album, his previous album, "Longer Days," and possibly some stories behind the music, and maybe a few covers that inspire him sprinkled in.
So be sure to stop out, grab a glass or bottle, and sit back and join us in celebrating and congratulating Mike on another top shelf installment into the world of music!
