The movie playing tonight, rain or moonlight under the big tent, will be a PG rated, heartwarming, slightly “scary” movie about a little girl whose creepy drawings—a coping mechanism for her, for dealing with loss and grief—suddenly come to life..

There will be popcorn, hot dogs, chips, and drinks available for concession!

If it is raining, you might want an umbrella to get from your car to the tent, and the tent to the concessions.

Can’t wait to see you! Movie starts at 6:30pm!

So a funny thing happened on my way to Oakwood Fruit Farm to do a w**e tasting this morning. From the front of my car came a POP and a terrible scraping sound. I pulled over several times to see what was wrong and saw nothing amiss. No noise under 20 mph but loud over 20 mph. Drove home, 8 miles, at 20 mph for the fix. Any guesses what was wrong?
PS , I will be back tomorrow at Oakwood for their open house! Stop in and say 👋

Guessing has closed. The big reveal, somewhat lengthy. There is a shield that runs from the front of the driver's side wheel well to the bottom of the front bumper. My Subaru has nearly 240,000 miles on it so there was some fatigue going on. The front of the shield gave way, but not the back of the shield. This means that at low speed or stopped the shield was held where it should be, looking fine. But driving over 20 mph, the oncoming air forced the front of the shield down where it scraped the asphalt and made the most horrendous sound! 😁 CRAZY!

Help us in wishing Mary Spurgeon, a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Before there was a Spurgeon Winery, Mary grew up right across the way. It’s one of the reasons this valley was the place to plant roots, (and vines). The roots were already here. Her hard work over the years has been not only what turned Spurgeon Winery into a brand, but also keeping it going.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY, and thank you for all you do!
