WOW.🤯

Two weeks ago, our world was rocked.

We lost our home to 131 mph winds, and our small town in central South Dakota sustained damage that will be felt and seen for a long time.

As we sat in the basement, so many thoughts raced through our minds. Please let everyone be safe. What will be left of the house? What are we going to walk out to? Will the cattle be okay?

To say it was a miracle that our show heifers and all of our livestock came through the storm unharmed would be an understatement. In the middle of so much uncertainty, getting back in the show barn served as our sense of "normal".

The success Kenidey found this past week at the National Classic was anything but "normal". It was the kind of junior national every exhibitor dreams about. Some wins mean a little more than others, and this was one of those weeks. There have been a number of Godwinks since the storm, and this week at the National Classic was another one we'll carry with us for a very long time. We're incredibly thankful for everyone who has reached out, lent a hand, and cheered us on these past two weeks. Your support has meant more than you'll ever know.

We're incredibly proud of you, Kenidey❤️

🚨UPDATE: WE HAVE FOUND ROOMS. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYBODY FOR YOUR HELP🚨

‼️ISO HOTEL ROOM FOR SIMMENTAL JUNIOR NATIONALS‼️

Due to some damage our camper sustained from the storm, we now have a change of plans and are in search of a hotel room for Simmental Junior Nationals in Grand Island. We are looking for a double queen room for July 3-10. We already have 1 room at the Grand Island Casino, so if we could have the other one there, that would be ideal. That said, we can and will make anything work and appreciate the help!
