There are some ranch jobs that just take a lot of hands. We’re lucky to have neighbors, friends, and family who show up ready to work and help get it done.

We’re grateful for the people who continue to show up for each other and make days like this possible.

There’s a lot of noise right now around beef imports, trade policy, labeling, and the massive systems that control much of our food supply.

Buying direct makes it a whole lot simpler.

When you buy Wickens Ranch beef, you know exactly where your food comes from, who raised it, and how it was raised. Our beef goes from our Montana ranch to Stillwater Packing in Columbus, Montana, and then directly to you.

No blending. No mystery. No massive packers in between.

You have more control over where your food dollars go than you might think. That’s exactly why we started selling direct to Montanans in the first place.

The T-bone is a classic steak that never fails to deliver. It’s the NY strip and the tenderloin in one steak. These are thick, 18 oz t-bones. The bone-in leads to extra flavor, and is the ultimate meal!

We’re always amazed by the rhythms of the natural world. There’s a shift in the air on the ranch lately. Fall is on its way.

The smoky season is hard on everyone in Montana. Grateful to see clearer skies these days and a little blue back on the horizon.

Always a reminder not to take this landscape or the changing seasons for granted.
