We'll be at the Fernandina Beach Market Place tomorrow (5/30) from 9-1!

Just a heads up, we WILL NOT be at the market the next 2 Saturdays, 6/6 or 6/13, so if you need to stock up on any of your favorites, tomorrow would be a great time to stop by.

We appreciate your support more than you know. Thank you for helping us continue to grow, and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!πŸπŸ’›πŸ―

We wanted to take a moment to let our wonderful customers know that I have recently been in the hospital battling pancreatitis and unexpectedly had to undergo emergency gallbladder removal surgery. It has been a difficult and humbling time for our family, and I am taking recovery one day at a time.

We are hoping to be back at the Fernandina Beach Market Place this Saturday, the 25th, but at this time it is still uncertain and will depend on how recovery goes over the next few days. We will keep everyone updated as we know more.

In the meantime, our honor system is open and stocked for anyone needing honey. We truly cannot thank you enough for the prayers, kind messages, support, and understanding you have shown us. Your loyalty to our small family business has carried us through so many seasons, and during moments like this, it means more than words can say.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for loving and supporting our family. We appreciate each and every one of you more than you know. πŸ’›πŸ

A summer worker honeybee lives roughly six weeks.

That entire life follows a precise progression:

β€’ cell cleaning
β€’ brood nursing
β€’ wax production
β€’ food processing
β€’ guarding
β€’ foraging

By the time she becomes a forager she has already spent weeks sustaining the colony inside the hive.

Her final days are spent flying thousands of trips until her wings wear down.

Honey is not made by long lives.

It’s made by short lives spent in continuous work for something larger than the individual.
