Always excited to receive new parentage results. NADR uses the same accepted DNA testing standards as most animal registries do across the world with SNPs technology. NADR is the only registry we have found to use SNPs to compare our Axis and Fallow deer samples against their entire database just like they do with whitetail. This gives us the confidence not only to make the best breeding decisions, but to give our buyers the confidence in their purchase as well.

One of these studs will party with our girls come breeding time. We have a mix of outcrossed does, as well as original Euromax line. Tough choice!! Who's your pick?

So much knowledge gained over the years. One thing I haven't yet learned though. One year the weak side antler will be on the left, next year will be on the right. No injuries. Typhoon did this as well but his was even more pronounced. Buck in the pictures I was gonna name "Lefty" but next year he could be a righty.

Her fawn can be walking beside her and she's still calling. Anybody else have a honker?

Last year the horse flies really took a toll on Lowrider's velvet. This year he's dodged em so far.

So many things we have no control over, the weather being one of them. So when things line up just right, and growth reveals itself, let us not forget who is ultimately responsible. Not of our own doing, for we are mere stewards who manage, but create nothing. We plant and we water, but don't fool yourself, for it is only God who gives the growth.

Needing to send off an antler core to double check a certain lineage. I know it's in there somewhere.

Live registered doe with proven growth in her lineage, compared to a straw from each of her 2 grandsires. Which is more valuable to a beginning breeding program?
(These are old used straws just for a reference picture)
