This is Squid, our chicken who lays her egg in the house everyday. She comes to the sliding door around 10am, hangs out on my desk chair, lays her egg, and goes back outside.

Today she decided she wasn’t leaving and wants to be a mama. I gave her a bin with a few eggs and she settled right down on the eggs. I’m hoping I can move the bin up onto my desk, so I can use my chair again lol.

We should have babies in 21 days!

We’re completely out of egg cartons at Muddy Feet Farm and could really use your help. If you have empty cartons from past purchases, please drop them off at the farm stand and we’ll put them right back to good use!

🐝 Exciting news- we are officially beekeepers now!

We are so excited to add bees to our farm this year! Not only will they help with pollination for our fruit trees and gardens, but we’ve been catching local swarms and giving them a forever home right here on the farm.

We’re hoping that in the future we’ll be able to offer fresh local honey and beeswax products right at the farm stand- stay tuned! 🍯
