These sweet little babies are starting to grow! Their little eyes are beginning to peep open 💕 So far they’ve lived life surrounded by a wonderful momma, many broody hens and some kind and protective roosters. The worst parts of their little lives are probably when the humans come to mess with their day.

It’s been a busy week for new life on the farm!!

Our Deathlayers are laying a ton and our SilverRudd blues have given us a couple extra dozen eggs.

Deathlayer Chicks: 15$/chick

Welp! I definitely thought that Storm couldn’t have babies since she didn’t have any last year and I kind of ran her over with the car and figured I messed up her ability to reproduce. 😬🤷‍♀️. We didn’t bother to fix her when we fixed Jojo and Buddha. Now all the girls have had one round of kittens… and Storm will be next to get fixed. That’s it for kittens on the farm for a while!

Grey Goose brought her babies out today! And of course Fiddy (shades of gray) would be out protecting everyone like the best Daddy goose he always is!

Grey Goose finally hatched her nest of babies!! She has 3 healthy chicks out of 8 potential eggs. We did need to do a little nest cleanup today (why we are pestering her) to remove one chick that didn’t make it out of the egg. Geese are such fun parents 😅
