As the busiest part of our berry season begins to wind down, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who has visited Scholls Family Farm this summer.

We are so grateful for your support of our family and local agriculture. It has been wonderful to see so many of you out in the fields making memories and enjoying fresh berries.

As things slow down on the farm, we will be transitioning to a self-serve U-Pick experience. We will continue to have blueberries and blackberries available for picking, and we hope you'll continue to stop by and enjoy the harvest.

We are now operating on the honor system. We kindly ask that you estimate the weight of the berries you pick and leave your payment in the payment bucket before you leave.

Current Price:
Blueberries & Blackberries – $2.50 per pound
We will continue to provide picking boxes while supplies last. If we happen to run out, please feel free to pick into your own containers and simply estimate your total weight when calculating your payment.

With the temperatures reaching above 90 degrees today our fields will be closing at 1:00pm today. We will open again tomorrow morning at 9:00am.

Here's the latest update from the berry fields!
Raspberries:

The raspberry season is winding down, and we're nearing the end. There are still some berries to pick, but this will likely be one of the last opportunities for the season.

Boysenberries: Boysenberries are also almost finished. If you've been waiting to pick, now is the time to come out before the season wraps up.

Marionberries: Marionberries are still coming in nicely, with plenty of berries continuing to ripen.

Blackberries: The blackberry patch is looking great! There are lots of berries available now, with more ripening every day.

Blueberries: The blueberry fields are picking very well. Duke blueberries are almost finished, but Chandler blueberries are ripening nicely and are great for picking. Our Blueberry Valley varieties are also looking excellent and are ready to pick.

Our hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and we accept both cash and card.

Here's the latest update from the berry fields!
Raspberries: This will likely be the last week for raspberries, so if you've been hoping to pick some, now is the time! We still have lots of beautiful Cascade Delight raspberries available.

Blueberries: The blueberry season continues to improve.
Reka blueberries are really starting to come in, with plenty ready for picking and many more ripening each day.
Duke blueberries are still producing well and continue to size up.
Chandler blueberries are beginning to ripen, and while there are some ready to pick, many still need a little more time.

Boysenberries: Still picking well, with plenty available and more continuing to ripen.

Marionberries: There are still some great berries to pick, and many more are continuing to ripen throughout the field.

Obsidian Blackberries: This variety is between flushes right now. Most of the ripe berries have been picked, and the next crop is still ripening.

Blackberries: Our standard blackberry varieties are picking well, with plenty available and more ripening every day.

Holiday Weekend Update

Just a reminder that Scholls Family Farm will be closed on Saturday, July 4th so our team can enjoy the holiday with their families.

We'll be back to our regular hours, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, on Sunday.

The berry fields are looking great! Marionberries and boysenberries are at their peak, all raspberry varieties are open, and blackberries are ripe and ready for picking.

Our Duke blueberries are ripe and picking well, while the Chandler and other later blueberry varieties just need a little more time to ripen.

The berry season is in full swing, and the fields are looking great! Here's the latest update on what's available for picking:

Marionberries are at their peak this week and looking amazing. If you've been waiting for Marionberries, now is the time to come pick.

Boysenberries are also at their peak and are producing beautiful fruit throughout the fields.

Raspberries continue to pick well, with all varieties open and plenty of berries available.

Blueberries are open and really starting to ripen.

The bushes are filling in nicely, and we expect picking to continue getting better as the season progresses.

Blackberries are open and ripe for picking. While there are plenty available, some of the berries could still use a little more sunshine to develop their full sweetness. If you don't mind a slightly tart berry, there's still great picking to be had.

Our hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and we accept both cash and card payments.

Here's the latest update from the farm!

We currently have the following berries available for U-Pick:

• Raspberries: All varieties are open and ready for picking.
• Blueberries: Our Duke blueberries are available now. The later blueberry varieties in the Blueberry Valley still need a little more time to ripen, and we'll keep you updated as they become ready.
• Blackberries: Open and ready for picking.
• Boysenberries: Open and ready for picking.
• Marionberries: Open and ready for picking.

We've also heard your feedback about the weeds and some of the rows feeling more overgrown this season, and we want you to know that we hear you. We do our best to use minimal spraying practices, and this year the weeds have definitely been winning the battle. As the cane berries put on new growth throughout the season, it also makes it more challenging to keep up with mowing and maintaining the rows.

We understand that this can affect your picking experience, and we appreciate your patience as we continue working to improve the fields. Our team is addressing these areas as quickly as we can, and we're committed to making the farm as enjoyable as possible for everyone.

Farm Update from Scholls Family Farm

First, we want to say thank you to everyone who has come out to the farm so far this season. We have truly appreciated all of the support and are grateful to see so many families, friends, and berry lovers enjoying the farm with us.

As of now, all of the berry varieties currently ripe on the property are open for picking. The fields are producing well, and there is a great selection available throughout the farm.

For our blueberry fans, some of the later-season varieties will need a little more time to ripen. We'll continue to monitor them closely and will post updates as they become ready for picking.

One thing we've noticed this season is that while the berries are ripe and ready to harvest, some varieties are still a little tart and could benefit from a few more days of sunshine. That said, there are plenty of delicious berries to be found, and we encourage you to come out, taste for yourself, and pick what suits your preference.

The raspberry fields are still producing very well, and we continue to have lots of berries available for picking. If you've been thinking about making a trip out to the farm, now is a great time to come visit.

We are currently picking Rudy, Meeker, and Willamette raspberries, and there are still plenty of berries throughout the fields.

The Cascade Delight raspberries are also beginning to ripen. There are some ready to pick, but many of the berries could still use a little more time on the plant. With the warm weather, we expect them to continue ripening quickly over the coming days.

We'll keep everyone updated as the Cascade Delights come into full production. We are also continuing to monitor our other berry varieties and will let everyone know as soon as they are ready and we open them up for picking.

Crop Update from Scholls Family Farm
Things are looking great at the farm. The raspberry fields are full, and picking conditions are excellent right now.

We are currently harvesting the Rudy, Meeker, and Willamette raspberry varieties. The berries are plentiful, and now is an excellent time to come out and fill your buckets. Our Cascade Delight raspberries are not quite ripe yet, but they're coming along nicely. We'll keep everyone posted as they ripen and as other berry varieties become available throughout the season.

Our u-pick berries are $2.50/pound.

With warmer temperatures in the forecast this weekend, we will be monitoring conditions each day and may adjust our hours if necessary for the safety of our customers and staff. Please stay tuned to our page for any updates.

If you're planning a visit, we recommend coming earlier in the day and bringing plenty of water to stay hydrated while picking.
