I have never given anyone permission to enter the pastures where my animals are without an authorized personnel present. There are designated areas where guests can hand feed the alpacas, but they can not enter the pastures without us present. We never give permission to people to enter the fields without one of us present.

We have worked hard and spent a lot of time and money over the past 20 years to develop the small herd we have. We don't mind people stopping and enjoying their beauty. However, no one has the right to enter our private spaces, open gates and help themselves. Do you allow strangers in your back yard. If you found strangers in your back yard chasing your pets around what would you do? Why do you treat our backyard any different? It is fortunate that we live near the population and we are willing to share our experience with you, from a safe distance. However if a few people continue to disregard our "CLOSED" sign or our posted "Employees Only" signs we will have to close the alpaca experience to everyone and that is not fair to those that treat us, our animals and our private farm with respect!
