Unfortunately, due to Ai shaming, I will not have a picture post for our special menu item. 🥹
I understand that a "real" image is preferred. I prefer it too. However, I'm also a perfectionist when it comes to putting out a representation of our products. The reality is that we have a mobile bakery. That means a tiny working space. My husband and I share the space. He bakes. I do everything else. So counters, baking rakes, sinks, they all get full on baking day. I cannot always take the time to make a space perfect to shoot. Time is a huge constraint because we bake EVERYTHING from scratch. Which means we are often up 24hours the day of a bake sale. Yes, all night! Why? Because we want to serve you the freshest baked goods possible.
We do our best to use local ingredients so as to support our local farms. That requires going and picking ingredients, cleaning, cutting, sometimes flash freezing, storing, labeling and organizing. It's a lot!
And just to be totally honest, we also have a child with special needs and several diagnosis. We decided to create this business for her. To allow her to have her mom and dad at home with her. To learn a business and be able to participate when appropriate.
Sooooo with all that said, I apologize if our advertising doesn't fit some expectations.
Those of you who know our baked goods, know what you're gonna get. Those of you who've never tried our items, don't let the Ai be your excuse. The rest of us would hate for you to miss out. But if that's the reason we lose the opportunity to bake you happy, remember what's going on behind the scenes and maybe exercise some empathy & kindness.
In the meantime, look for an EARLY morning post with a beautiful picture, maybe even video of our Cinnamon Sweet Rolls!!
