Park Family Farm - Hillsborough NJ Park Family Farm is a two acre, community-centered farm in Hillsborough, NJ selling pasture raised eggs and vegetables. Visits only by appointment for now!

You can buy eggs through our CSA and self-serve farmstand (hours listed). Our self-serve farmstand is at the corner of the property on Amsterdam Drive (please do not come up our driveway from Millstone River Road!). If you see the blue cooler or produce on the stand, we're open!

We will be pausing egg sales from now til the Spring. This flock produced great eggs for 2 years but they’re past their egg laying prime. We’ve sold most of our hens to another farm and have kept a small flock for ourselves through the winter. We’ll start fresh with a new larger flock next Spring.

Our current flock is close to the end of their peak productive egg laying. Over the next few months we’ll be selling our hens to anyone who may want to jump start a backyard flock or for any other purpose 🙊.

They’re still laying delicious eggs but not quite as often and the egg quality will slightly decline over the coming months. These birds also make great stewing hens for stock or the slow cooker (keep in mind these are egg laying hens not meat birds so it won’t be tender). If you’re interested send a dm!

We will be taking a break for the winter and looking to restart with a fresh flock in the Spring.

Spring 🍃 update:

🐓The chickens are out of the tunnel and back in their coop. They’ll be rotated to fresh green pasture soon.

💵Starting Monday (Apr14) we’ll be raising our prices from $7 -> $8/dz. This will help us stay on top of rising costs and make sure we can handle flock turnover later this year. Your purchases also allow us to make regular donations of eggs to ! We know eggs aren’t cheap but we appreciate all our customers! This is a small operation that we want to keep going as long as we can.

☕️We’ll also try to get limited stock back soon as we know many people like to pick up while they grab some coffee. It’s hard to keep eggs in stock between pickups and our donations, but production has been picking up with the warmer and longer days.

📣 🌟 We’re very excited to put up our new banners showing love for .hands and ! We’ve had relationships with both these organizations for a while and hope to spread the news about the important work they do to combat food insecurity with the many people who walk, run, bike, and drive by our farm. Both orgs provide free food in a market setting to our neighbors who need it most (and lots of other great services).

This farm was started in our backyard to steward the resources we’ve been given and give back to our community in a small way. Through our eggs and small profits we’re able to support them and we hope as our neighbors you would consider doing so as well. Follow them on social, volunteer, give, and go to their events!

We’ve started a weekly egg donation to our friends ! This means 25+ dozen fresh pastured eggs for our neighbors every week. We even get to take home food that otherwise would go to the dumpster to feed back to the chickens. This also helps us keep older hens that may not otherwise be economical to keep. Saving food, reducing carbon emissions in landfills, and supporting our community.
