Born in 2010 in Flounder's Morristown Apartment the Brewery formally opened and served its first commercial beers in 2013 on a 1 barrel system. Grown step-by-step Flounder Brewing is now a 15 barrel brewhouse situated on beautiful Carriage Farm in 250 year old restored barns. hat our brand is all about! Dogs are welcome, but allowed on the front patio only.

2. Minors are allowed but must be seated at your table & accompanied by an adult at all times when not seated. This means if they are up and looking around - you are up and looing around with them.

3. Absolutely no minors upstairs in the hay loft – even if for a larger group – minors are only allowed upstairs for private, rented events.

4. Do not move furniture...ask staff for assistance.

5. Two 10-person tables are available first come first served by signing up for a 3 hour block for groups of 10-20. You must sign-up at the bar and your 3 hours starts as soon as you sign-up - you cannot come earlier and sign-up for a later slot. These tables are upstairs and minors are NOT permitted upstairs.

6. Only tables your group is seated at can be used for your food and presents/packages, do not use other tables.

7. Everyone in your party must first come up to the bar before sitting for ID check and a required tour (interaction with a Team Member).

8. No smoking or va**ng anywhere except in Carriage Farm's Smoking Gazebo located behind the distillery.

9. We are BYOF – Bring Your Own Food! Or visit www.carriagefarm.com/events for the Farm’s calendar of food trucks - Carriage Farm is home to 20+ businesses so they bring in food often to the Farm!

10. Absolutely NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL is permitted on premises.

We’re excited to be part of TWO amazing cultural events this weekend!

Starting today, we’re at the Flemington OPA! Festival celebrating all things Greek at St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church in Flemington, running through Sunday. Grab a pour of our Kefi 26 Pilsner or Santorini Sunset Peach Hard Seltzer while you’re there! 🇬🇷🍻

Then tomorrow, we’re heading to The Woodland in Maplewood for Maplewood Ukrainian Day! Catch Flounder and Billy slinging beers from 12–6 as hundreds come together to celebrate all things Ukraine! 🇺🇦🍺

Two incredible celebrations, one awesome weekend. Come find us and raise a glass!

Rainy weekend plans? We’ve got you covered — literally. 🍻🌧️

Maybe the shore got washed out… maybe the BBQ isn’t quite firing up… but the Barn is dry, warm, and ready to roll.

The beer is flowing, the board game wall is stacked, and at 6pm the incredible Sam Brown takes the stage with powerhouse vocals, storytelling, and the kind of live music that makes a gray day feel pretty perfect.

Today it will be revolutionary at the Barn! 1:00 George Washington comes on horseback to hang until around 4 to celebrate our can release of Victory Town Ale in collaboration with the Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route Association as Hillsborough officially becomes a Victory Town! Then at 2:00 our next Lecture on Tap begins as Erika Gorder, Rutgers Archivist, tells the story of Queens College during the American Revolution. All the while our favorites - Testo Pizza - will be cooking up their pies on this beautiful day!

Beautiful day at the Barn and a pretty perfect way to spend a birthday. 🍻☀️

Tonight we’ve got one of our favorites back on the Songwriter Stage — James from Widely Grown playing as a duo. How much do we dig his music? Well, it’s Flounder’s birthday today — okay, mine… yes, I’m the one behind all these posts telling our story — and I honestly couldn’t think of a chiller way to spend it than with Widely Grown filling the Barn. 🎶

Kulinary Kings is outside on the farm, the tap list is FULL, the slushee machine is fired up, and we’ve added even more tables out back. Lots and lots of outdoor space, cold pours, great food, and those Barn vibes we never get tired of.

Come hang with us today. It’s a good one. 🍻
