Eggciting things are happening here! We are in the process of building our second Chicken coop for our Bantams. Should be finishing it within the next week or so! All egg sales help us to be able to work on projects like this and prevent/treat illness within our flock.

Here we have one of our new Salmon Faverolle chicks! These guys are growing so fast! I was super lucky to be able to snag 3 chicks this year. NFS

I want to thank everyone who came and visited us at the swap today! We have some fun new chicks to show off that we will be adding to our flocks! I am very excited to have breeding pens that will be ready for chicks and hatching egg sales next year! We will still be selling eggs from our main flock of course.

One of our girls is an overachiever and keeps laying double yolkers! I can’t imagine how uncomfortable it must be to lay these! These eggs can’t fit in regular cartons! I think they are about the size of duck eggs! Poor girl!

Raising up this young Roo has been so much fun! He’s an Olive Egger from Hog Lake Homestead’s lines! I always get such beautiful boys when I hatch HLH eggs!
