What lovely snow blanket we had turned back to green again by sundown. But more snow is coming through Monday to SW VA. Our region is in the 2-4” slot, so again, call first to our farm, drive safe if you’re out, and dress for wet snow. With any luck we’ll have minimal snow, and safe roads.

Hey Tree Folk!
We do still have snow in the fields and on the trees (very pretty), but nothing more coming out of the sky through the weekend.
Forecast is for the low-mid 40s, cloudy, maybe a bit of sun.
The roads in should be fairly good, but please be careful on the hills!

Dress for snowy fields, and enjoy your adventure!

Thursday night - we have a forecast of snow overnight, probably starting around midnight, on into mid-morning. We’re slated for 2-3”, which will be pretty!

We’ll be open from about noon on, once we see what we get. The main concern, if you’re wanting to tree-hunt on Friday, are the road conditions en route. All three ways to our farm are long downhills in, then long uphills out. Please drive carefully, as we are not first on the list for the highway department!

PLEASE CALL FIRST ON FRIDAY!
And consider appropriate footwear for snowy grass!

Saturday & Sunday forecast is cloudy, low 40s, but should be ok for travel!

We’ve had a lovely day on the farm, with family, and a few customers still finding their way, with full bellies I’d guess.

It appears some of the search results - like on Bing, are still displaying that we are temporarily closed. BUT THEY ARE WRONG!
We have already been selling trees, and are open every day 9-5. If you want to come on a weekday, please call first to be sure one of us is home - we do have errands and appointments to get out to.

Ya know, one thing I love about Tree Season is that when our ol’ land line phone rings, we get to speak with real human beings, instead of scam calls! We love catching up with our long-time customers as well as hearing from first-timers.
I just had a call where we talked about trees, but also about guitars and music, deer and coyote!

Come on out, over, up, down, to our little slice of heaven!
I’m making up the first batch of fresh wreaths, and Billy’s got everything looking great!

Awfully beautiful on the Christmas tree farm this morning.
