We are looking for a dependable and responsible employee to be part of a daily team rotating positions and milking cows on a 40 stall rotary. Need to be able to handle groups of dairy cows in a safe, patient and efficient manner. Flexibility with a monthly schedule rotating between day and night shifts.

We are hiring! We're looking for someone who can help with irrigation and operate a variety of equipment around the dairy farming operation. What we are expecting:
• Able to assist in Day or Night Irrigation (during season)
• operate CAT 930/938 wheel loader and other large equipment
• operate Case 165 & 250 CVT tractors
• able to help with shop work when needed
• can grease and do general maintenance on the equipment daily
• ok with some physical labor on occasion
• able to keep equipment as clean as possible
• able to fill in on other positions around the dairy farm when needed
• welding and torch skills advised

What you can expect:
• Starting Pay @ $15.00/hr
• Starting daily @ 6 AM with meeting to go over projects/goals for the day
• 30 min lunch and off at 4 p.m. most days
• Working 6 days a week, additional days available upon request (irrigation season may change)
• Clean and safe equipment to operate
• Working on a variety of different projects around the dairy farm

We are looking for a dependable employee, who is patient and comfortable with livestock, to be part of our outside dairy team. A variety of daily tasks including: herd health, corral maintenance, maternity cow care, newborn calf care and transition. 1-2 night shifts per month for night herdsman relief and also the ability to relieve milkers in the barn when needed. Schedule is typically 6 days on and 1 day off.

Our Jerseys love to eat their Total Mixed Ration (TMR) which is nutritionally balanced quality feed providing them with just what they need to make high quality milk everyday.
