This week we're highlighting United Samaritans Foundation in our celebration of donations for the 250th anniversary of America!

United Samaritans Foundation delivers food to Stanislaus County residents in need and facilitates the provision of services to assist them in a transition to a better quality of life. Food is prepared and delivered to scheduled stops 5 days per week throughout Stanislaus County so those in need do not have to travel to pick up their nourishing meals.

Hilmar is proud to deepen our commitment to help close America’s protein gap through a new partnership with HATCH for Hunger, the nation’s largest nonprofit focused on protein insecurity.

We’ve also joined the newly formed Coalition to Close the Protein Gap—a public–private effort bringing together farmers, protein companies, producer groups, government partners and hunger advocates to strengthen the food relief system and expand access to nutritious protein for families in need.

Through a planned three-year commitment of cheese and financial support, we’ll help HATCH increase access to dairy protein while supporting the infrastructure that makes it possible to deliver more high-quality protein through food banks across the U.S.

We’re honored to be part of this work—because protein should not be a privilege, and Improving Lives Together starts with ensuring families have what they need to thrive.

Who's ready for another 250th donation spotlight? 🙌

Westside Ministries has been helping folks find their way for 42 years. The mission is to feed those in need an evening homecooked meal most days. The program has a summer camp and a farm and garden to teach youth how to raise produce and livestock to be self-sufficient.
