Just finished trimming 9 of the thirteen sheep going to the Western Regional southdown show this weekend at Del Mar fairgrounds. Should be a great time 70degree predicted and right on the Pacific Ocean.

San Diego County Fair has opened up the possibility of having a California Southdown Association State open show starting on Friday June 7th with showing on either Saturday or Sunday. Then the exhibitors can also stay over and compete in the regular San Diego County Fair Open sheep show during the week or June 10th.
This is an opportunity to show trice in a one week period under two different judges and be within 1/2 mile of the California beaches. Great fair management, they really take care of the exhibitors and put on a great time. We would love to have some out of state exhibitors attend and are willing to help out so that their show is successful. Contact me for additional information.
