Chef Darren had the privilege of feeding the incredible teachers at Okatie Elementary School Okies last week for Teacher Appreciation and it genuinely meant the world to us! With two little ones of his own, we see up close just how much these educators pour into their work every single day.

The least we could do was pour right back in!

Darren went all out with a grazing board that puts charcuteries to shame. Overflowing spreads, layers of flavor, and enough to make the whole staff stop and stare before they dove in. It was a blast to build and even better knowing who it was for.

A gas leak in the short-term rental kitchen sent a full cloud of flames straight at Chef Darren! He pivoted on the spot, moved the entire meal to the grill, and finished every single dish without missing a beat.
