ALSO: Puppy update!

It definitely looks like we are expecting puppies in about four weeks!

Rosie is scheduled for an X-Ray to confirm the number of puppies later this month and we are very excited to see what this beautiful pairing brings!

Rosie is a 45 lb. Parti-Poodle (liver/brown and white) with a great disposition and a gentle nature. She's bright and funny and still likes to chew things which are usually mine!!!!

Dad is Watson, Mandy and Paul's gorgeous dark red Golden Retriever who fathered his first litter last year and seems quite proud of his contribution! He's gorgeous, sweet-natured, totally goofy and not the brightest bulb if you know what I mean... he can be totally delighted by chasing a little green light. But he's the sweetest thing!

Puppies will be $1500.00, vet-checked, weaned, treated with flea-prevention and early vaccines done. We work with Erie Canal Veterinary Hospital and Apple Country Animal Hospital here in Hilton and Spencerport.

Our puppies are acclimated to children, cats, outdoor critters, loud noises and being handled by a whole crew of people who love puppy time!

We know this is a big decision.
We respect that.
If you decide that you for sure want to go forward with this, a two-hundred dollar deposit holds your spot in line for puppy selection.

The deposit goes toward the purchase price of the puppy.
I will keep a list here of people who have made deposits.
If anything goes wrong with the litter, deposits will be refunded.
If you need to change your mind once puppies are born, the deposit won't be refunded.

We will find out how many puppies in twenty days +/-.

We are very excited about this! Maggie (now spayed) will be the proud aunt and Willow (new this year) will think the puppies are her personal play toys.

They are not and we will let her know that!!! :)

It is planting time!
The first baby pumpkin plants are going into the ground and there are thousands more waiting to join them!!!!

We started the seeds three weeks ago and we'll keep planting weekly so that we've got pretty new patches coming throughout the fall. Shoutout to DeConinck Farms who have stepped up to grow pumpkins for us because we don't have enough land for all of them!

The first mums arrive in 7 days.... and then that field gets planted with thousands of mum pots in singles, double and triples!

"Fabiola" tonight!
Join us as Archangel School presents a wonderful rendition of the life of martyrs in their production of "Fabiola"! 7:00 TONIGHT at Archangel School, 2400 Chili Avenue (formerly the Washington Irving School in Gates) Finn and Lena have been working on this with their wonderful schoolmates and teachers for the last several months...

It is a $5.00 admission, but if you don't have the money, come anyway... The farm will cover you!

We want to share this story and production of selflessness and sacrifice!!!!

This is unbelievable and yet true.

Stolen calves on Sunday morning.....

UPDATE - The calves are HOME SAFE! We are so grateful to our local community, the ag community and law enforcement for all of the assistance in helping get our heifers back to us. The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is working on leads and we look forward to the full prosecution of anyone involved. We're so grateful and relieved! ❤️🎉

This is a post we hoped we'd never have to write. 💔 We had 17 calves stolen from our calf facility on Bliss Road very early Sunday morning. Our primary concern is the health and wellbeing of these calves and having them returned safely. The perpetrators appeared to drive west on Lockport Road toward the Alabama Hotel/Holley Farm intersection after leaving our facility. If any neighbors have cameras that catch passing traffic, we'd really appreciate if you could check for a truck hauling a cattle trailer passing between 1-3 am on Sunday. Cattle industry folks, we'd appreciate if you could keep an eye out for anyone trying to sell calves that fit this description or with new animals that showed up overnight. The calves are the approximate age and size of the calves in the photo - 5 month old Holstein heifers. Their ear tags look like those in the photo, they have an electronic ID button tag and 1 or 2 large floppy tags. If you have any information that could be helpful, you can contact the Genesee County Sheriffs office. Again, we just want our calves back safely and are very concerned about their wellbeing. Your help and prayers are appreciated.

We have Cheese Danish today, there are three banana cakes and one carrot cake slice... and we have Triple Berry Cheese Danish....
