LaBarr Farms We are a family-run farm specializing in cut flowers with a pick-your-own flower field overlooking Seneca Lake.

Visitors to the farm can enjoy a wrapped bunch of blooms from the farmstand during the spring and a chance to pick their own summer flowers.

We have bunches of peonies at the stand today! These adorable blooms won’t last long- partly because the season is a short one and partly because they’re so adorable!🥰

And our ranunculus is going strong. Wrapped jar arrangements are available, too!

📣Update- SOLD OUT FOR THE DAY! We’ll open back up tomorrow (Wednesday, 5/27)at 8am with more bouquets!!! WOW- thanks for showing up for ranunculus today, pals!! 🤍🤍

The first full harvest is ready! This crop got in a little later than planned this season because the head of the ranunculus department here at the farm (me) broke her ankle in February!🙋🏼‍♀️

Well, it looks like the crop is finally ready with its first flush!

Ranunculus and lilac bouquets at the stand today! 🌿

We’ll be open from 8a-7p with fresh flowers, dried flower wreaths and all the other fun things in the stand!

Open daily from 8a-7p while we have ranunculus in bloom! Peonies soon, too!

Good Morning, pals! Here’s a quick farm update:

We covered the tender annuals last night on the farm…just in case! 🥶

All is well this morning, the low (at about 5:30 this morning in the upick field) was 38° which can absolutely create a frost but other factors (dew point and wind) kept it at bay!

Down in the lower fields closer to the lake it was a balmy 32° this morning- a definite frost! (That field has a frost pocket!) But the ranunculus were all tucked in under heavy frost cloth and are living their best life with these cooler temps! Now if they’d just hurry up and bloom! 😉

The boys are loving this mini vacation from school and also living THEIR best lives- when you’re 8 & 10 years old 100’ sheets of frost cloth provide limitless entertainment, especially when you tangle yourselves on purpose! 🤣
