Deathlayer Chicks – 2 Months Old

I have 3 Deathlayer chicks available, approximately 2 months old.

Deathlayers are a rare and endangered heritage breed known for their exceptional longevity and laying ability. They produce around 200 medium-to-large bright white eggs per year. Unlike many breeds that slow down or stop laying after 3–4 years, Deathlayers can continue laying efficiently throughout their entire lifetime.

I originally purchased these chicks for a breeding program, but I’ve decided to go in a different direction. My loss is your gain!

These hard-to-find birds would make an excellent addition to a breeding project, homestead, or backyard flock.

Hi, my name is Cheyenne and I’m the face behind Triple Caret Coops. I raise jumbo Coturnix quail, chickens, and ducks on our little slice of heaven north of Hingham, Montana. What started as a small hobby has grown into a daily rhythm of caring for birds, learning as I go, and building something meaningful right here at home.

I offer eating and hatching eggs, chicks, and the occasional grow-outs and full grown birds. Message me for availability and pricing.

We also have a bachelor pad for both drakes and roosters. We do charge a $4/bird relocation fee for them to live their life out free ranging on the farm!

We’re located about 20 miles outside of Hingham, MT, but life takes us to Havre, Shelby, and Great Falls regularly and Billings and Kalispell about twice yearly. We’re always happy to bring birds or eggs along for the roadtrip!
