VPGC, LLC VPGC, LLC is locally owned by VA and WV farmers, and strives to bring quality turkey from our farms Virginia Poultry Growers Cooperative, Inc.

(VPGC), headquartered in Hinton, Virginia, is a vertically integrated turkey company including everything from growing, feeding, and processing turkeys, to delivering products to the customer. In addition to its processing plant in Hinton, Virginia, VPGC operates a feed mill in Broadway, Virginia, and grain storage and distribution facilities in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Currently VPGC consists of 1

65 member-growers and employs 565 people. The 230,000 square foot plant specializes in boneless turkey meats and bone-in turkey parts and processes about 7 million turkeys per year. Our diverse customers include processors and distributors of turkey products, most of them representing major consumer brands as well as smaller niche food providers. VPGC is committed to quality at every level, from producing the feed for its birds, to delivering the highest quality turkey meat to more than 400 customers around the world, while bringing value to our owners, customers, and community. Building on its strong community and family roots, VPGC and its employees have donated thousands of dollars and hours to various organizations throughout the community, including the United Way, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and the American Cancer Society. VPGC has also demonstrated a strong commitment to further enhancing the future of agriculture by supporting organizations such as the Rockingham County Fair and Future Farmers of America. As a company owned by local Virginia farmers, we bring meat from our farms to your table.

Staff members Doug Boxley, Denise Larson and Grant Martin had the opportunity to attend the Virginia Grain Producers Association education event held at Marshall Farms today. VPGC was one of the sponsors of the event.

Grant spoke to the group about opportunities available with VPGC to grow turkeys and market grain.

Here we go again! Our GUS facility will close at 3:30pm today due to weather!

Our Broadway location will be accepting wheat from 3:30pm-10:00 pm today. We will be back at GUS to start the day tomorrow at 9am.

GUS hours for next week are 9am-7pm M-F

Check back tomorrow for possible weather related schedule changes.
