Hey y'all.
I've procrastinated on this post because it comes with so many feelings. I won't list them all here, but there's been a lot of mental anguish over this decision.
This is the last week Kaboom will be a brick and mortar walk-in shop. I'm going to go back to custom orders and the occasional pop-up offering. If you have an order with me now, don't worry, it will still be fulfilled.
COVID has made predicting sales pretty awful, and I can't keep balancing this work with my family life. The stress of not having enough income has taken a toll mentally and financially and I just have to tap out. My kids have to come first, as much as I love being in the Kitchen.
You'll find me behind the counter next month at , and maybe the occasional Kaboom cannoli will still be offered there, too.
Please let me express my deepest gratitude for the wonderful souls who chose to support my business. My regulars have put a smile on my face so many times, and I have welcomed the challenges of making beautiful custom cakes and treats for some wonderful, gracious humans. I thank you. The animals thank you.
I'll never stop making delicious vegan baked goods. I just have to find new avenues to do so.
