The cold finally arrives, and with it, we break out the blankets! Yes, we love equine blankets, and while we use them sparingly, when they are needed they are really needed.
Likely someone will debate this post. Whatever. :)
Turns out the mini Chloe loves to be blanketed, and we are working on trust with Wren and with Dimitri. Many other seniors were popped back into one, and extra hay is being put out today for this first cold drop of the season.
There is some extra beauty in winter, and easier to enjoy with the right clothing, so I say.
(photo from last winter, the ears are hilarious, and being a cold Monday following a beast of a month, some hilarity is much needed)
