The original gulab jaamun cookie. But… what IS it really? (swipe to find out)
Gulab jamun is a dessert that originated from desi countries. For those who don’t know, it is an airy, fried ball of milk and sugar that becomes spongy and sweet after being soaked in sugar syrup.
Now as it’s one of our favorite desserts ever, we HAD to try turning it into a cookie. The Jaamun cookie is sweet, infused with cardmom, and has a soft and chewy bite.
Topped with rose petals, this classic cookie can be paired with jaamun syrup, eaten with ice cream, chai, or even a glass or milk. Take your pick based on your level of sweetness preference.
There are two other flavors of the jaamun cookie that cater towards the desi palate… check out our page to see what they are!
