2026 Hay Season is Underway!

The 2026 hay season is officially underway, and we’re already busy getting hay cut, baled, and ready for our customers. As we head into another season, we’re thankful for the rain, the fields, and the hardworking folks who count on good hay year after year.

Due to rising costs in diesel and fertilizer, Hegar Hay will have a few price adjustments on round bales and square bales moving forward.

2026 Hay Prices:

🐎 Square Bales: $12.50
🐴 Outside Hay: $90 per roll
🏚️ Barn-Stored Hay: $120 per roll
🐄 Cow Hay: $75 per roll (coming soon)

We truly appreciate all of our customers and their continued support. We work hard to keep quality hay available while keeping prices as fair as possible with the costs we are facing.

Hegar Hay update -- the fields are looking good and are getting ready to cut but need break from the rain ! Hopefully we can catch a break and have some fresh hay within a 2 to 3 weeks.

Current Hay supplies - we have SQUARE BALES for $13 and are completely SOLD OUT of ROUND BALES

We will be open tomorrow from 10-2
